CareerAgent
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Practical questions about how this project is run, including its current legal and business status.

Is CareerAgent a commercial product?

No. It is not operated as a registered business, no payment is collected or requested anywhere in connection with it, and there is no billing of any kind. Access is currently limited to a small group of invited testers. Current status is documented on the Imprint page.

Where does the job data come from?

The Bundesagentur für Arbeit Jobsuche API, Adzuna, and the public Greenhouse and Lever job board APIs, used here for personal, non-commercial testing by a small invited group. LinkedIn postings are entered manually — none are retrieved automatically.

Is CareerAgent affiliated with the Bundesagentur für Arbeit, Adzuna, Greenhouse, Lever, Google, GitHub, or LinkedIn?

No. None of these organizations endorse or operate this project. Their names are used only to identify the data sources and sign-in options this application integrates with.

Does it submit job applications without my review?

No. Every application is drafted for review before use. Auto-apply for Greenhouse and Lever postings still requires manual confirmation of each submission.

What happens to my data?

See the Privacy notice for details. In short: it remains within this instance, is not sold or shared for advertising, and is sent only to the configured LLM provider to generate scores and drafts.

Can I invite someone else to use it?

Contact the operator listed on the Imprint page. Sign-up may be restricted to a specific list of email addresses during the testing phase.
